Logistics, known as the enterprise's third party profit source, is one part of supply chain activities. In recent years, how to handle the logistics has been considered one of the most important affect of the domestic and foreign big iron and steel enterprises. The leaving-factory logistics is a very important part of iron logistics, a well-done leaving-factory logistics can not only reduce the operation cost and management cost, moreover can reduce the customer response time, enhances the system flexibility, reduces the probability of making mistakes, the promote customer service level.This paper summarizes the basic concepts of logistics development, and then sums up the characteristics of iron logistics, as well as the current development of major domestic steel enterprise. Next, the author using his experience of many years practice in the forefront of Bao-Steel factory logistics management, concludes the characteristics of Bao-Steel factory logistics status, and analysis the advantages and disadvantages detailedly.A well-done system for the integrated management of leaving-factory logistics is not simply piecing all the correlative management business together, but with the advanced information technology organically integrates the management functions. At present in the domestic steel and iron profession, no one of mature leaving-factory logistics information platform has been built. In view of this actual situation, this article begins with a reasonable business process rebuilding of leaving-factory logistics, proposing a feasible information platform frame, and making the demand definition to the frame function module.In the field of leaving-factory logistics, there still lacked generic quantitative analysis method in theory. The author draws on the SCOR model in supply chain modeling lane, and introduce the basic thinking into the leaving-factory logistics modeling and simulation. This article provides an effective method for after-depth quantitative analysis of the leaving-factory logistics system. Finally, the author aiming at the actual situation and real data of "railway warehouse loading", using ARIS software and application SCOR thinking, analyses and improves the processes of the "railway warehouse loading". The case verifies the reliability and practicality of SCOR-based modeling.
