In recent years, with the development of the national economy, and the increasing of international trade business, the port industry has got great development, no matter in the aspect of infrastructure construction, or cargo throughput, which is a key link in the process of international logistics transportation system. But in the rapid development of port logistics industry, it still has many problems at the same time, which hinder the long-term sustainable development of the industry, such as, redundant construction and idle of port facilities, the lack of advanced management concept, and the higher operating costs, etc. Therefore, the study of port logistics enterprises operating efficiency analysis can find its existence can find their existence question, providing reference guide for the enterprise management optimization. For a long time, the research and analysis on the efficiency of logistics enterprises is mainly focused on their financial indicators. These studies with the low level of comprehensive can not reflect the overall characteristics of the operating process of port logistics enterprises. This paper establishes an evaluation index of port logistics enterprise operating efficiency, considering the two aspects of system technology level and the enterprise economic benefit level. What’s more, principal component analysis and DEA are also used to build the whole evaluation system of this paper, to analysis the operating efficiency of port logistics enterprises. In the empirical part, this paper selects11port logistics public listed companies in China as research samples, to derive the technical efficiency, the pure technical efficiency and the scale efficiency of these companies from2011to2013.After the analysis, we can draw the following conclusion:First of all, the operating efficiency of these port logistics enterprises is low, and only a few enterprises are comprehensive-technically efficient.
