How to promote regional technological entrepreneurship has got attention of different countries and their theory fields. Technological innovation is the basis and core of technology start-ups, and guides the relationship between entrepreneurship and organizational performance. Industry agglomeration and entrepreneurship is a concomitant process, industry agglomeration is conducive to the creation of new enterprise, while creating a new business also contributed to the development of industrial clusters. Therefore, to explore the influencing factors of technology entrepreneurship and test technology entrepreneurship’s economic consequences have important theoretical and practical significance for regional economic development. This paper uses industrial clusters theory, technological innovation theory, technology entrepreneurship theory and spatial econometric methods, researching the influencing factors of technology entrepreneurship and its’ employment effects. The main contents are as follows:Chaper 1 introduces the research background, purpose and meaning, the research methods and possible innovations.Chaper 2 defines the concept of industrial agglomeration, technological innovation and technology entrepreneurship, and summarizes related literature. Chaper 3 examines the space distribution of technology start-ups, combining with the existing research, reasons for the differences of regional technology entrepreneurship is analysed preliminary.Chaper 4 is the empirical research of industrial agglomeration, regional innovation and technology entrepreneurship. During the process, the spatial spillovers effects of regional technology entrepreneurship are investigated by introducing the geographic and economic type’s spatial weight matrixes into the spatial panel models.Chaper 5 is empirical analysis of technology entrepreneurship and regional employment. Also the spatial effects are taken into account, establishing spatial econometric model to analyze.Chaper 6 is the conclusion, and points out the shortage and content need to improve the research. The results indicate that (1)Spatial spillovers effects of technology entrepreneurship exits. (2)Areas with higher degree of industrial agglomeration are more conducive to the development of regional technology entrepreneurship. (3)Innovation ability has significant influence on technology entrepreneurship. (3)Foreign direct investment has a certain region crowding-out effect on technology entrepreneurship. (4)Development of regional technology entrepreneurship plays a certain role in promoting regional employment.Compared with previous studies, probable innovations exist:the use of panel data of cities at prefecture level or above in China, study more microscopic level. Also take into account the effect of spatial effects, and spatial econometric models are established.
