Numerous rural labors, new requirements about employment structure put forward by industrial structure changes along with economic development, and the improvement of employment environment for rural labor force that benefited from national policies, are making Chinese rural labor force employment face new opportunities and challenges at present. The proportion of rural labor and labor exporting are large in Linchuan District of Fuzhou City of Jiangxi Province, and its area topography is complex, but basic education is developed, the rural labor force’s overall quality are also high. In order to optimize the employment structure of rural labor force in Linchuan district and realize farmers’ full employment, this dissertation studies the influencing factors of rural labor employment in Linchuan district.This dissertation took the initial validation results of influencing factors of rural labor employment in Jiangxi Province as factual basis, combining with the theoretical principles of questionnaire design and the results of previous studies, designed the questionnaire of Linchuan district. Sampling points were selected considering natural, social and economic conditions of townships in Linchuan District. The survey obtained the study data through three stages, pre-investigation, formal investigation, and supplementary investigation, with household interview. The survey interviewed 291 farmers, 278 valid questionnaires inside, and the effective rate was 95.5%.The results and conclusions of this dissertation were as follows:(1) Analyzing economic development stage of Linchuan district. From urbanization rate, per capita GDP, industrial structure and other aspects, it determined the economic development of Linchuan District in 2014 is the early advanced stage of industrialization.(2) The research of rural labor force employment situation of 2001-2014 in Linchuan District showed that under the new stage of economic development, the proportion of rural labor force in agriculture decreased significantly; Villages and Towns in Linchuan District gradually formed competitive industry, had obvious industry agglomeration phenomenon. Furthermore, and their rural labor force proportions in agriculture slumped, the difference decreased.(3) The preliminary validation of influencing factors of the rural labor employment in Jiangxi Province found that the rural laborers’ Education Attainment, Industry Type and Degree of Employment Market Development have positive effect on their employment incomes.(4) According to questionnaire data, this dissertation analyzed the influences of rural laborers’ individual characteristics, human capital situation, family characteristics and regional characteristics on farming types, engaged industry and places of employment by using descriptive statistical method, put forward research hypothesis, and used multinomial logistic regression model to verify these hypotheses. The results showed that the above four characteristics affected employment situation of rural labor force in different direction and extent.On the basis of the above research results, in order to optimize the rural labor force employment structure and realize the full employment of farmers in Linchuan District, it put forward the following four suggestions:(a) Comprehensively balancing the rural laborers’ employment behavior by achieving their characteristics;(b) To promote the non-agricultural employment transfer of rural labor force through improving the quality of human capital;(c) By accelerating the transformation of agricultural population, to ease contradiction between human and land in area;(d) Guiding the rural labor force employment based on its situations.
