The Development Of Economic And Trade Cooperation Research On China’s Xinjiang And Kazakhstan Under The Background Of The Silk Road Economic Belt

Since Kazakhstan(hereinafter referred to as KAZ) independent, it gradually developed into the main partner of China Xinjiang(hereinafter referred to as Xinjiang), and the development of relations between them is getting increasingly closer. Especially after entering the new century, China’s and KAZ’s the senior leaders by communicating constantly, create a more favorable political environment for bilateral economic and trade cooperation. In 2013,China proposed the silk road economic belt(hereinafter referred to as the silk road) development strategy for the first time in KAZ, it made the development of relationships between Xinjiang and KAZ become the focus of attention once again.Xinjiang and KAZ have many advantages to deepen cooperation relationship, in geopolitical terms, they adjacent to each other and both belong to central Asia, have close development relationships; Culturally speaking, they both have similar customs,national culture and religious; tell from the economic and trade cooperation, they both have good resources environment, the economic potential of complementary advantages and high-level economic and trade cooperation platform.With the rapid development of economy in Xinjiang, the degree of opening to the outside world also constantly improve, in 2015, Xinjiang was officially positioned as the silk road economic belt core, thus strengthen the economic and trade cooperation between Xinjiang and KAZ, become the key node to the development strategy of the implementation of the silk road economic zone.For actively promote the construction of the silk road economic belt core of Xinjiang, this paper attempts to study further the development of economic and trade cooperation between Xinjiang and KAZ. Firstly, this article interpreting strategic connotation of the silk road economic belt, clear the development position of Xinjiangand KAZ, and found the opportunities and challenges under the development background of the construction of the silk road economic belt. Then review the bilateral development course, current situation of the development of economic and trade cooperation between the two sides as well as the existing problems, then from a comparative analysis of resources, industrial structure and trade the three aspects,found the two sides has obvious economic and trade complementarities.By using Eviews7.2 measurement statistics software, select panel data in 2002-2014 of Xinjiang and the five Central Asian to establish a mixed regression model,finally found all of the explanatory variables,as the five Central Asian countries’ s GDP,transportation distance, per capita income gap, the border effect and land area have a significant impact on the trade flows between Xinjiang and the five central Asian countries. KAZ as Xinjiang’s the most important trading partner in the five Central Asian countries, the empirical analysis of the trade flow of Xinjiang and the five Central Asian countries reflect the main factors affecting the trade cooperation between Xinjiang and KAZ indirectly. Finally, with the aid of the development opportunity of the silk road economic belt, putting forward concrete suggestions to further promote the economic and trade cooperation of Xinjiang and KAZ.
