In recent years, with the changes of the macroeconomy, the financial market environment, the financial regulatory environment and the financial competition environment, the traditional banks have ushered in the new development opportunities and challenges. Interest rate marketization makes the competition between banks more intense, the spread between the lend and deposit rates gradually narrowed, the bank’s operational risk further enhanced.The rapid development of the Internet Banking has provided a platform for customers to get higher profit and more convenient, which leads to the banking industry in the financial system is also gradually reduced and part of the bank’s customers churn. Then, customer base has become one of the main factors that determine the development of the bank, in this severe case, the high quality customer will gradually become the focus of the competition of the banks.Therefore, commercial banks need to optimize their own system to enhance their competitiveness, and then strive to further attract and retain more quality customers. As a link between the customer and the commercial bank, through the effective promotion of the enthusiasm, the customer manager can provide more excellent service to the customer, it can play an important role in maintaining the relationship between the customer and the bank, and then provide some conditions for the competitiveness of commercial banks.Therefore, how to fully and effectively mobilize the enthusiasm of customer manager’s work through establishing and optimizing customer manager’s performance evaluation system,which can prevent the loss of excellent client manager, and attract more outstanding client managers into banks, it has become one of the urgent problems of modern commercial bank.This article takes the Shanxi X bank as the research object,To put forward more suitable for further improvement of shanxi X bank account manager performance evaluation of the development of the system as the main purpose,,firstly, on the basis of in-depth analysis of Shanxi X bank’s existing client manager performance appraisal system and evaluation system of the implementation process situation,it systematically and deeply analyzes that existing client manager performance evaluation system in the existing problems and lays the foundation for the optimization evaluation system. Secondly, from the perspective of the development of Shanxi X bank and strategic objectives,through the research of customer manager’s job responsibilities, to develop job responsibilities, and to the existing customer manager performance evaluation system framework, comprehensive assessment index system, assessment system process to optimize. Finally, give advice on the optimization of the performance appraisal system of implementation of the application, the appropriate safeguards, specific implementation problems feedback, etc to ensure optimized client manager performance evaluation system can be implemented smoothly,and ultimately can enhance competitiveness of the bank and promote the performance level of client manager as reference.
