In recent years,the financial ecological environment has undergone profound changes.On one hand,the financial needs of corporate legal persons are increasingly diversified,while the obsolete services can no longer meet the needs of the market,leading to a slowdown in macroeconomic growth.On the other hand,with the end of the scale expansion cycle of commercial banks,the growth rates of scale and profits slow down,and the pressure on asset quality increases sharply.All these facts,as well as other potential factors,put forward new requirements for the development of commercial banks.Therefore,in the long run,China’s local commercial Banks must keep in mind the new characteristics of the financial market and seek new driver of their own development based on the emerging needs of corporate legal persons.Only in this way,can China’s local commercial banks seize the development opportunities,expand the living space,and achieve fruitful results in the increasingly fierce competition.Corporate banking is the basis of commercial Banks as well as the main source of profits.The development of corporate banking plays an important role in its operation and asset quality.As one of the most representative and influential joint-stock commercial banks in China,Jianye Bank has been unswervingly maintaining a sound business style,carrying out financial innovation and striving to provide long-term high-quality services for customers during its 32-year development.In order to better maintain the domestic leading level and the bank’s market position and to accelerate its development pace,the primary task of Jianye Bank is to improve its marketing ability for corporate banking.From the perspective of first-class branches,this study optimizes the performance appraisal system of the Suzhou Branch of Jianye Bank.The first chapter introduces the research background and significance,reviews the domestic and foreign theoretical research on performance appraisal,and explains the research ideas and methods.The second chapter introduces the basic situation of the Suzhou Branch of Jianye Bank,and describes the status quo of its performance appraisal system for corporate account managers and its compensation valuation system.This paper analyzes the current situation and market environment that Suzhou Branch faces with,finds out the existing problems in the current performance appraisal system,and further analyzes the causes of the problems.In general,the branch faces four important problems: first,the performance appraisal index design is unreasonable;second,the assessment index is inconsistent with the strategic development goal of Suzhou Branch;third,the assessment index system is easy to be out of balance;fourth,the guidance of risk management system is not clear.Only by analyzing,grasping and solving these four important problems,can Suzhou Branch of Jianye Bank further consolidate its market position,accelerate its business expansion in the financial market,and further improve its contribution to the overall profits of the public business of Jianye Bank.In order to optimize the strategic layout,enhance the execution ability and improve the work efficiency,Suzhou Branch is in urgent need of establishing a real,reliable and effective performance appraisal system for company client managers based on actual needs.The third chapter attempts to effectively improve the performance appraisal system of company client managers of Suzhou Branch of Jianye Bank at the present stage,resets relevant core indicators,redefines the calculation method of performance bonuses for corporate account managers,and establishes a relatively perfect incentive and constraint assessment mechanism for credit operation decisions.Chapter four puts forward the safeguard measures of the performance appraisal system,and strives to improve the enthusiasm of corporate account managers and promote the transformation and upgrading of corporate financial business of the company of Suzhou Branch of Jianye Bank.
