The reformations of international financial system extremely influence the developing circumstances of commercial banks. The implementation of market economy determines competitiveness among commercial banks become even stronger nowadays. In order to adapt the development trend of customer service centered, commercial banks are forced to provide distinctive and diversified customer services and financial products. Above facts brought increasing completion within the industry, which effectively accelerate the innovation and creation of commercial banks. Therefore the core competitiveness of commercial banks is emphasized. In order to achieve the reformation of banking administration and strategic innovation, it requires establishments of scientific and efficient performance appraisal mechanism for client manager, which is vital to achieve personal pursuit and raising profits of commercial banks. To build performance appraisal mechanism becomes a key point for domestic commercial banks to eventually demonstrate their sustainable capacity of development and unique competitive advantages.This assignment took PF Bank client manager performance appraisal mechanisms as the sample. Firstly, analyses the basic principles and methods of performance appraisal mechanism, combined with the promotion theory and the requirements of administrative innovation, thus evaluate and analyses the current situation of implemented performance appraisal mechanism, by taking account of PF bank's development strategic achievements and standard of award by sub-department. Secondly, according to the issues occurred, examine the major weakness of current performance appraisal mechanism by carrying out a survey. Moreover, differentiated and clarified the problems exists, demonstrate the necessity of finding shortcomings and advancement. Finally, offering rational and feasible suggestions of modifying accordingly. Compare and also sum up the differences between the current performance evaluation methods and the one after assumed improvement. Therefore the research is to offer assists for PF bank's business activities and human resource management, should contain a number of valuable examples to underline the importance of implementing performance appraisal mechanism and has certain value of reference to optimize the existing client manager performance appraisal mechanism for commercial banks.
