Study On Purchasing Management Optimization For Group Company YK

With the development of IT and globalization, competition is becoming increasingly acute. Enterprises hope to optimize purchase management to reduce costs and increase effectiveness, and so realize transforming from traditional purchase management model to modern model under supply chain environment.This thesis summarizes theories about purchase management, supplier management and modern purchase way, uses several methods to study present purchase status of Group Company YK(YK), including material classification, purchasing process, supplier vendor management, purchase method, procurement function settings, purchasing performance evaluation etc.. Through further in-depth analysis, there are some problems existed on YK’s purchasing management, for instance unscientific material classification, treated incorrectly on supplier management and purchasing method by different materials. That is an important job for YK to improve. With regard to the purchasing method optimization, based on material classification, centralized purchasing, material supermarket operation mode, e-business and JIT application had been studied especially in the thesis. And for the optimization of purchase method, there are six respects involved in, supplier classification, investigation, selection, evaluation, encouragement and relationship managements to promote supplier management more scientific and more structured based on optimization principles and material classification improvement. To ensure optimization plan implementation, purchase organization, supervision, performance, staff, information platform and supplier on YK should be improved in actual.To sum up, as the 3rd benefit source, purchase management has not been playing due role in YK. No other than integrating supply chain, JIT, E-business these advanced theories, and establishing strategic business partner relationship with suppliers, YK purchase management will be improved to fit future requirements.
