The Research On SEMs Projects’ Metadata Place Based On The Dublin Core Standard

With the rapid development of science and technology nowadays, globalization and regional economic integration of the enterprise information standardization become the trend of internationalization. Exchange about the products, technology and management become more and more frequent. Moreover, competition between enterprises will become more intense with the rapid development of globalization and regional economic integration, building information standard is more and more important. After all, building the information standard will become the global common trend.This paper studies the enterprise evaluation index system, introduces the standardization, and inspired and learn from the evaluation of SME indicators. With the situation of SMEs projects, the paper introduce what is the metadata and some related knowledge, and then extends the Dublin Core standard which is usually used to record books and data information. The paper established the five principle of the SME project metadata place. Based on the five principle, this paper presents small and medium-sized enterprises( SME) project metadata place to solve the problem of lacking unified standard and information sharing in SMEs, the content and storage methods of metadata place elements were also specified in this paper. For verify the scientific and feasible of the SMEs’ project metadata place, the paper compare the SMEs’ project metadata place and project database management system which has been used for many years. At last, this paper gives application direction of SME metadata place, and has very positive meaning to promote SME’s informationization and standardization.
