Research And Application Of Quality Metadata And Its Management System

As entering into new century , quality management has entered into a new stage which is characterized with taking market as guiding , taking total quality management as core , combning with other advanced quality management methods and theories , using computer technology and network to implement informatization and electronization of quality management .With this transformation ,become a modern quality management. Its characteristic is quality becomes the core of all work in enterprise , variety of quality management technologies have applied into every department in enterprise and every stage of product manufacturing,, quality management staff solve quality problems with these technologies,methods,quality management software and other management softwares related with quality management. The characteristic lead to indispensable role of quality data in quality management . Only with better and more clear understanding of quality data , can quality management staff make correct quality decision. Therefore , a concept of metadata is introduced into modern quality management to form quality metadata , which help quality management staff use quality data to implement quality management . Introduction and application of quality metadata can improve level of quality information management.Based on literature ,characteristic of modern quality management is analyzed firstly , quality metadata is researched systematicly , the definition,effect,classification,source and content of quality metadata and application flow of quality metadata in enterprise quality management is analyzed . Aiming at essential role of quality metadata standard in quality metadata application , original form of quality metadata standard is established, and this original form is described by XML Schema technology, groundwork for users applying QM and QM sharing and interoperation is established by the work above. Quality Metadata Management System (QMMS) is developed in order to make management of metadata digitized,informationalized,networked, architecture of QMMS is established and key technology involved in progress of development is analyzed ,finally, development and application of QMMS is expounded.
