Strategic Development Of Cambodia Sihanoukville Special Administrative Region

With the quicker process of economic globalization, the closer relationship of China and Kampuchea, Sihanoukville SEZ in Kampuchea invested by both of them has got prosperity, but the development of Sihanoukville SEZ has faced certain obstacles, because of the low economic developing standard and the limitation of resources in this country, so a strategy decision is of great importance. This article mainly use the method of outer and inner environment analysis to define the outer environment and inner key indicators affecting the development of the SEZ, such as resources and abilities in hand 、 the key abilities and so on, and then an accurate positioning can be done based on the situations above. In the same time, the article also refers to the method of SWOT analysis, including the analysis about the opportunities, threats, strengths and the weaknesses, also considering about the custom of this country, then, several solutions are alternative: the Strategy of clothes branding, the Horizontal Integrated strategy of Mechanism and Electron, and the Cost Leadership Strategy. Considering about the results of analysis above, it concludes that Sihanoukville SEZ should carry out the Strategy of Sustainable Development and Integration to promote the prosperity of the SEZ. At the end of this article, the key controlling points during the process of carrying out the strategies are put forward to enhance the process.
