Research On Business Process Improvement In Y Manufacturing Company Logistics Department

In order to improve the efficiency of manufacturing enterprise’s logistics operation, improve the quality of service, strengthen the communication between the departments, this paper researched enterprise’s material inbound, outbound, retentate delivery process according to the related theory of process optimization.In this paper, the existing business processes of the company and Petri net are demonstrated, the paper simulates through the Extendsim software, and uses value chain analysis method to evaluate the existing problems in the three business process based on the Petri net and process status, finally, paper points out the three problems that existed in the business process respectively: transit times of materials is frequent, warehouse efficiency of storage is low; the quality of transportation is poor, forklift’s unbalanced utilization rate because of lacking of loading platforms; because of handling sluggish materials is too simple, a lot of waste comes into being. ECRSI optimization method is applied to these three business processes and improvement projects are put forwarded: canceling the product storage area, combining material staging area and stripping area; transforming transceiver platform, the transport business outsourced to the third party logistics company and set up the inspection before shipment; adding new test areas to examine the unqualified materials, and establishing the retentate database.Extendsim is used to contrast and evaluate the optimized scheme. Simulation and evaluation results show that the optimized material warehousing business process’ s average utilization of various modules are improved, each package’s verage processing time is decreased, the simulation system is more smoothly; The optimized delivery outbound process shows that the forklift’s utilization rate is more balanced and the total efficiency improved significantly, the average waiting time of momentum cargo area reduced greatly, cargo backlog situation has been improved significantly; The retentate processing optimized, reduced the unnecessary waste, saved the purchase cost of enterprise. The optimized logistics business process helps to improve enterprise’s comprehensive competitiveness, has a certain reference significance to the industry enterprise.
