Human resource is the primary resource of a company, and staff training is an effective measure to optimize and improve human resource structure, as well as to attract and maintain talent staff. Training can not only precisely convey the intension of the management, enhance their recognition with company’ strategic interests and its corporate culture; but also can effectively stimulate the working enthusiasm of the staff, promote the comprehensive quality of the staff themselves. The ultimate goal is to transfer the human resource to powerful productivity resources, and elevate the research and development competence and productivity of the staff. Besides, training helps to improve the human resource structure, and reduce the unnecessary consumption between the links of the production procedures, so that to support and secure the sustainable development of a company. In the past years, Dong Feng Company had witnessed a talents’ bottleneck in its rapid development. Their current staff training and management system cannot effectively realize talent staff training and its purpose of promoting development. The company is in great need of improve its staff training system, so that they can train a group of high-quality talents and fully realize company development through the effective training.This thesis analyzes the existing problems and disadvantages of the current system of Dong Feng Company based on the status quo of its staff training system and its staff training theories, so that to find out the origins of the existing problems and seek for solutions. Firstly, the author gets to know staff training related theories and its management system related information, as well as related domestic and oversea research results in this field through literature review. The author employed investigation research method to gather information from Dong Feng Company about the current staff training management system, the operational situation, corporate culture, company strategy as well as the training demand from all staff. Also, case study method is used to analyze the existing problems of the current training management system and their origins. Secondly, the author has found out after the research that the current training management system setup is in lack of scientific and strict overall planning in training, and the content of training is relatively simple. In the process of the training implementation, the training organization is not well executed and fulfilled, and in lack of necessary incentive measures. Furthermore, in order to improve the system, measures need to be taken from four different aspects: analysis of staff training demand, design of the training program system, design of the trainers’ structure and the evaluation of appraisal results. The present system will be redesigned so that effective organization, culture notions and budget can be secured for the necessary support of the operation of the new system.The new staff training management system takes the company strategy and demand of staff training as the key, to design different training program system for different staff groups, optimize the inside and outside trainers’ structure so that different parts of the system will be well linked and well functioned to guarantee the training’s effect to the best. The new system is simple, practical and strongly operable, and ensures the effective development of the staff training management work for Dong Feng Company. It provides necessary reference to the research of staff training related issues.
