Since China’s reform and opening up, Industrial clusters are well prom oted which promote the competitiveness of the industry in our country, is the main form to Driving the developm ent of region. Like a Biology following the laws of nature, Industrial clusters undergo life cycle from birth to death. So m y research is focused on How to play the role of the govern ment behavior, to keep sustainable competitiveness of industry cluster. Shuitou is a national key town. Stone industry is very developed and takes an im portant part in the fiscal le vy. Stone industry as pillar industry for Shuitou related to the stability of the local economy.In nanan city shuitou town, the sustainable development of stone industry cluster is the governm ent behavior as the resear ch object, through the understanding of domestic and foreign scholars on the sustainable developmen t of industrial clusters and industrial cluster and governm ent involvement in industry cluster developm ent aspects of knowledge study, according to the th eory of life cycle of industrial cluster and market failure theory as the theoretical basis, analyzed th e nanan city shuitou town government behavior in the sustai nable development of industrial cluster situation and existing problem s, through th e sustainable developm ent of industry cluster at h ome and abroad for reference, th e successful cases, summ arizes the experience, the sustainable developm ent of industrial cluster is the governm ent behavior of nanan city shuitou town government role for the sustainable development of industrial cluster, and the im proving Suggestions nanan city shuitou tow n sustainable development of industrial cluster.
