In the mineral process, the logic control program of electric equipment in PLC control software is to realize the field electrical equipments' start or stop, fault protection, interlock protect functions, which plays a key role for the normal operation of the production process. Due to the lack of standardized test platform and test tools, PLC logic control programs often need to go through repeated field testing in order to gradually find and modify bugs. Therefore, these tests are likely to cause delays in the progress of on-site commissioning, increase the debugging workload, and even cause the unpredictable accidents of equipment during the debugging process.In this paper, based on the National Science and Technology Supporting Program (Advanced Control Technology of Whole production Line of Mineral Processing 2012BAF19G01), testing methods of logic control program about PLC electrical equipment in the mineral process were initially discussed, and a test platform software was designed and developed. The main work is as follows:1. Based on the analysis of the logic control program functions and features of the related electrical equipment for the mineral process, the problem description and testing requirements of the logic control program testing were discussed;2. Test methods of the logic control program for electrical equipment were studied. The electrical equipments of mineral process were classified according to the electrical equipments' logic control signal and the two control principle diagram and electrical equipments' virtual object model was established. What's more, the design of related electrical equipments control program's test case was also discussed.;3. For Rockwell PLC control system, testing platform's structure and function of logic control program was designed. The testing platform was consisted of loading of test cases, tested program module, program monitoring picture module, visual object, and dynamic determination and result record, which based on contrast and dynamic determination method;4. Based on the logical test software ControlBuild of TNI Company in France and ControlLogix 5000 series PLC programming software of Rockwell Company in America, a testing platform software for logic control program of electrical equipments in the mineral process was developed;5. Taking the electrical equipment PLC logic control program of dry cleaning station control system of a new iron ore plant mineral process project as measured object and conducting experiments in the testing platform that we have developed, the validity of the test platform was verified by the test for logical control program of related electrical equipments under the normal state, fault state, technology interlock condition.
