With the oil prices rising, the oil shale processing has been more and more attention.In numerous shale oil refining technology, the process based on ATP (Alberta Taciuk Processor) furnace is the world's advanced shale oil refining process.The controlling efficiency of the ATP furnace distillation process directly affects the production of shale oil, and temperature controlling is the key that links of ATP furnace distillation process. As a result, the temperature control system for the theoretical analysis and application research has important practical significance.In this paper shale oil refinery production line of a shale oil refining as the background, with ATP furnace as research object, this paper expounds the furnace structure and working principle of ATP,ATP furnace temperature control system is carried on the thorough and system analysis. in ATP furnace temperature control the difficulties is the features such as control object with large time delay and disturbance.How to solve the pure lag and the effects of all kinds of disturbance to the temperature control system, keeping the ATP furnace carbonization zone temperature within the scope of process requirement is the research emphasis in this paper.Dry distillation process is a very complicated process, it is difficult to use a precise mathematical model to simulate the temperature object description.the analysis of the process of ATP furnace temperature control shows that the original control strategy is one of the traditional cascade PID control, but the analysis of the temperature curve, the control effecy is not very ideal, the main reason is that the cascade PID can't very well solve the pure lag and the effects of all kinds of disturbance to the temperature control system. In order to solve the effect of the pure delay, Smith forecast controller is applied to the ATP furnace temperature system. Smith forecast controller is very good solusion of the lagging on the system, the dynamic performance and steady-state performance is good. In order to solve the impact of disturbance, this paper introduces the fuzzy controller, apply to the temperature control system, improve the robustness of the system. In the process of control, fuzzy controller has the effect on the primary loop PID controller, fuzzy controller Smith reverse forecast controller in parallel on both ends of a fuzzy PID controller.This constitutes the Smith and fuzzy compound control, Smith forecast controller solves the pure lag and the impact of disturbance, enhancing the system stability and robustness.Finally, control system based on the Smith prediction compensation fuzzy cascade control performance in ATP furnace temperature control system is analysis, the results show that the design of the control system not only has good disturbance resistance, and can solve the pure lag link and the effects of the change of model parameters better, the control effect is superior to the traditional PID.
