Gear is an important industrial component, improve its quality and accuracyis important, so put forward higher request not only to the machining accuracy,but also to the test. CNC gear measuring centre can test gear, tools and all kindsof workpiece, is an important subject to improve the overall accuracy by improveits control system performance. This paper is researched and developed a set offull-closed control system of gear measuring centre by ACR9000as the core.First, expounded the function, structure and performance of the gearmeasuring centre, designed the control system of the overall design schemeaccording to the deficiency. It is formed a double closed loop control system byanalog output uses a motion controller as the control unit, A5servo drive as drivemechanism, the grating as precision sensing, data acquisition card as datacollection part. It has studied servo control principle of PID-feed forward-filtercontrol mode by ACR9000, analysis advantage and the control system of positionloop and velocity loop. At the same time, has done the servo adjustment test, andachieved steady and dynamic performance requirement.On the platform of ACR-VIEW, has realized the high or low speed control,four axis rocker motion control, test head protection control and hard or soft limitcontrol function. Developed dynamic link libraries of machine communication,has realized the function of controller state guard, single-axis motion, multiaxiallinkage, man-machine interface interaction.At last, it has done the contrast test to the overall measuring performance, itshowed that the improved control system was greatly improve the accuracy of theinstrument and stability, and satisfied the measuring requirements.
