Printed circuit board is a key component in electronic equipment.PCB CNC drilling machine as a special equipment for machining precision hole position of PCB is put forward more demanding performance requirements,along with the development of electronic information technology.According to the investigation and analysis of the electronic manufacturing industry in our country,the quality of PCB CNC drilling machine directly affects the development of electronic information industry in China.So,it is necessary to improve the current situation of PCB CNC drilling machine in our country,so as to improve the whole performance of the drilling machine,and to promote the development of electronic information manufacturing industry.This paper was based on the XZ axis in DLD36 types of an enterprise six-axis linear motor PCB CNC drilling machine.Combining high-precision and high-speed,the optimization structure was designed to improve the overall performance of drilling machine,and the prototype was made.Firstly,the original structure of the CNC drilling machine was measured and virtually assembled combining with Solidworks 3D Software,to understand each parts of the assembly sequence and work performance.The problems and shortcomings that have emerged in original structure were recorded.Secondly,the X axis and Z axis components were analyzed with structural theory and finite element,to find out the main problems and weak links in the performance of the drilling machine,and to define the main idea and optimized goals of the structure optimization design.The XZ axis of original structure was designed and optimized combining with modular design,to get best scheme.When the final optimized scheme was determined,the optimized structure was virtually assembled and was interference checked to ensure that there was no conflict and dislocation between the parts.The motion simulation was established to observe trajectory of each axis in the assembly.Finally,3D model of parts in optimized design of six-axis PCB CNC drilling machine were converted into two-dimensional engineering drawings and the prototype was manufactured and assembled.And using related test software debugged and tested the prototype of six-axis PCB CNC drilling machine.According to test results of the prototype,it could be shown that the structure design combining with modular design and optimization design can enhance the overall structure of rationality and independence,reduce the assembly process,provide convenience for installation and maintenance,improve the accuracy of XZ axis,improve the stability and reliability of the drilling machine.These were not only achieve the expected effect and reduce the cost,but also provide a basis for the development of similar products.At present the optimized six-axis PCB CNC drilling machine has been put into production and sales,and get high praise form customers.
