Along with the social develop rapidly, industrial production safety has received more and more attention of our people, the correspondingly, explosion-proof technology has also appeared and improved. In various kinds of explosion-proof technology, intrinsically safe explosion-proof technology is one of the safest, the most reliable, and the most widely used. As the formulate and promotion of the international and national about functional safety standards, the manufacturers of safety instrument also began to try to do functional safety certification for safety instrument slowly, to improve the reliability of the instruments.This paper is designed based on analogue class input isolation barrier with functional safety standards. Firstly, the functional safety standard involves the basic content of safety lifecycle, risk assessment and the safety integrity level has been carried on introduction in detail, then discuss intrinsic safety explosion-proof technology?HART intelligent transducer technology and isolated safety barrier. Then do the design of functional safety instrument circuit under the condition of functional safety standards, and according to the authentication parameters of circuit components to determine the main parameters. And then through the type testing data to verify the basic function of the barriers, according to the functional safety standard, then carry out EMC strengthen experiment, to achieve the functional security certification of the safety barriers. The last is the summary of this topic and its prospect.In the design process of the analog input functional safety barrier GSA000-EX, it makes HART digital signal achieve two way transmissions, the signal of magnetic coupling isolation technology achieve SIL3, satisfy the increasing requirements of safety and reliability of industrial field function. The products need independent power supply, power supply, input and output of the circuit are isolated between each other. The mean time between failures MTBF is longer than 200000 hours. The innovative circuit design makes the power consumption of products decrease 30% compared with the traditional products. It generates less heat and there is higher reliability with it.
