With the development of society, environmental problems attract more and more attention day by day, especially the water environment. More water treatment equipments are demanded and the water treatment industry is meeting a great development. Faced with the changes of short cycle, high quality and low cost in market demands and competition situation, customer requirements can not be satisfied with traditional customized production mode. As an important production mode in current manufacturing industry, Mass Customization technology has become the main trend in the production patterns development of modern enterprises.As important parts of Mass Customization, product spectrum and configuration design are the foundation and key technology to realize Mass Customization. Based on the cooperation projects with Jiajing environment facilities co., LTD., the product spectrum modeling and configuration design technology of nickel enrichment series products are researched. The product spectrum, configuration model, configuration design and scheme evaluation are analyzed in the papaer. Fianlly, the research on product spectrum and configuration design is elaborated combined with the software system. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. After the content of product spectrum is elaborated, the current development and technology trend of nickel enrichment series products are researched. According to the theory of spectrum modeling, the core content of nickel enrichment series product spectrum is discussed and the the spectrum model is constructed by disintegrating characteristic parameters layer by layer. Also, the naming rules, maturity rating, spectrum profile and modeling summary are expounded.2. the basic concepts of product family modeling technology is discussed and the structures as well as the functions of nickel enrichment products is analyzed at first. Then, configuration modeling method based on GBOM and function units is proposed in the paper. The hierarchy of configuration model is expressed through function units-parts classes-parts subclasses-parts objects. At last, the parts standardization of nickel enrichment facilities is researched.3. Firstly, the constraints in the configuration design process are classified and described. Then, the parameters constraints and delivery process are analyzed. Combined with products features, the configuration design method based on the spectrum and parameters is proposed. Next, the basic process of this configuration design method is introduced. At last the practical application of nickel enrichment products configuration design method is explained with an order.4. the characteristics of configuration design is analyzed. Considering the index in economy, function, operability, etc, the evaluation index system and mathematical model of multi-level fuzzy synthesis evaluation on the configuration scheme of the nickel enrichment series products are established. Combined with two specific schemes, the detail process of evaluation on configuration design scheme is explained.5. based on the above studies,the information management and configuration design system prototype of the nickel enrichment product series is developed for Jiajing environment facilities co., LTD. The framework of the system and operation of each module are described to verify the feasibility of the research in this paper.
