Steel Ball Centrifugal Scraper Conveyor Soft Start Device Research

Scraper conveyor is not only the key equipment of fully mechanized coal mining face,but also has important significance for safe production and improve production efficiency.At present, the scraper conveyor soft start device mainly include: hydraulic coupler, CST soft start device and so on.However, because of the complex structure and high cost of soft start device,and generally applicable to large and medium-sized scraper conveyor.Therefore,in view of the small and medium-sized scraper conveyor to design the device of mechanical soft start.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:According to the soft start of the scraper conveyor and its characteristics to analysis the load characteristics,and introduce the steel ball centrifugal soft start device;Completed the overall structure design of the steel ball centrifugal soft start device, established the three-dimensional geometric model, and using the ABAQUS software to analysis the strength of shell and rotor;Carried out the dynamic analysis for steel ball centrifugal soft start device, separately consider the influence that speed and ball filling amount for Steel ball centrifugal soft start device of torque transmission;Deduced the temperature of steel ball centrifugal operation in the process of soft start device with the change of time formula,using COMSOL software to carry out temperature and thermal stress analysis for steel ball centrifugal soft start device shell;Analysis of the steel ball centrifugal soft start device shell temperature and thermal stress by the speed, friction coefficient, ball filling amount of influence,and specific analysis of the effect that high temperature and heat stress on steel ball centrifugal soft start device shell strength.This study has a certain role in promoting the research and development of the soft start of the scraper conveyor.
