The meshing characteristics between the sprocket chains of the scraper conveyor are the core issues in the research of the sprocket transmission system,and also the key to the analysis of the sprocket wear failure characteristics during the operation of the scraper conveyor.Through the computer aided analysis software,the meshing contact and transmission process between the sprocket chains are simulated and analyzed.By studying the meshing characteristics and force characteristics of the sprocket and chain,the theoretical basis for the optimal design of the sprocket transmission system is provided.This article studies from the following aspects:(1)The structure and working principle of the scraper transporter are analyzed.The space mathematical equations of the sprocket chain and the sprocket link of the scraper transporter are established.The contact relationship between the sprocket and the link is theoretically explained.The software CATIA establishes the three-dimensional geometric model of the sprocket and chain of the scraper conveyor and its assembly model;(2)According to the actual requirements of the performance analysis of the scraper conveyor chain drive system,the simulation analysis scheme of the sprocket and chain meshing characteristics under three working conditions was established,and the ADAMS dynamics simulation analysis model was established.The sprocket and chain under different working conditions were established.The kinematics and dynamics simulation analysis was carried out during the meshing process,and the meshing law of the sprocket and chain was obtained.(3)Considering the effect of friction force,using the finite element analysis software numerical simulation,under the rated power starting condition,the nonlinear dynamics simulation analysis of the collision between the ring chain and the meshing process of the link-sprocket is carried out.The mechanical response of stress,strain,displacement,etc.of the sprocket and the circular chain.In the dissertation,a systematic analysis of the transmission of the scraper conveyor chain is carried out.It is an important reality to improve the reliability and stability of the sprocket transmission system,reduce product operation accidents and test costs,improve product development efficiency,design quality and increase economic benefits,significance.
