The complex special-shaped screw rotor parts are more and more important in the machinery industry.They are widely used in the mining industry,machinery manufacturing industry,construction industry,plastic forming and chemical industry.The oil screw produced by Shenyang University of Technology has many advantages,such as long lead,high precision and large diameter.The disadvantage is that the screw rotor production cycle is relatively long.In this paper,the dynamics of the 172 type screw rotor in the milling process with the disc cutter is studied.Through the research of this subject,we can foresee the change of the milling quantity and the residual stress of the workpiece in the milling process.This paper discusses the generating principle of the screw rotor's line,fitting the basic unit's line that take from the mearsured line,finded a solution to reverse screw shaped rotor profile theory line and verified many times.The inverse solution for theoretical line can provide theoretical help for the maintenance of screw parts.This article uses arc to fair type line in forward processing;in 3D modeling,using the approximation line established 3D approximation of screw rotor model and simulating the milling process.Through the study of kinematics and dynamics,this paper detailed explore the general movement of the disc milling cutter and established the mathematical model which is based on dynamic coordinate with disc cutter's as origin and fixed coordinates with rotor pivot as origin.Exploring the motion characteristics of the cutter and the way to solve dynamics problem that relative to the rotor.Finally,in order to explore how cutting speed and cutting depth influence the rotor cutting state in the cutting process of the rotor,this paper simplified the cutting process and established the finite element analysis model and used the finite element analysis to simulate analysis the rotor cutting process.At the same time,established the rotor's spatial model and analyzed the milling stress at the knife start point.
