Currently double solid wood flooring have commercialization and large-scale production in both domestic and international, but only developed in a few laboratories.Solid wood flooring is mainly a three-core and surface composited structure,Since the wood has hygroscopic expansion and contraction of the desorption performance and double wood flooring is an asymmetric structure, with differences in expansion / contraction coefficient contributed touncoordinateddeformation. In addition, the adhesive layer of the double layer limits the freedom of each timber deformation. This test attempts to open the slot on surface to prevent deformation of the floor from the physical level, In order to work out the best slot solution. Using the thickness of 3mm Canadian maple with excellent performance in wood flooring as surface material and double poplar wood compositedas core layer.The total thickness is about 20 mm. Slotting with different width, depth, length and in different directions on the bottom plate of solid wood flooring,After Thermoforming,temperature and humidity conditions treating,The deformation is detected by laser coordinate measuring station.Conclusions as below:1.Under conditions to ensure the strength of the floor, Slotting on the bottom plate of solid wood flooring,It found that 3 slots with 3mm deep parallel to the graindirection, It can slow down the deformation of the floor.2. Using three dimensional modeling technology to simulate the deformation of the floor.3. Analyze thedeformation mechanism of flooring with the slot: Slotting in stripes direction, It will destroy the wood fibers along the grain direction Coupled with the uneven distribution of temperature and humidity, the deformation of the floor is increased.Slotting parallel to the grain direction, It will destroy the stripes of filaments, so that the filaments with direction of the stripes are hard to gather, so as to slow down the deformation.4.Design a reasonable slot, measuring asymmetric multi-layer solid wood floor deformation under different environments,the optimal combination of stress-relief slot is obtained,And the result is demonstrated and explained by the orthogonal experiment.This test has a certain progressiveness in the same type of research. This study will help improve the utilization of wood, simplify the production process, significantly reduce production costs and raw material consumption, significantly reduce the amount of sizing to protect human health and environment.
