The preparation of press-powder of ceramic tiles is an important part in the production of ceramic. Spray drying is the main production process of the press-powder is Spray drying is, and it's shortcomings are high energy consumption and high emission which restrict milling technology's development. Therefore powder research institute of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology has developed a new dry suspended granulation process. This process can save energy and reducing emission compared with the spray drying process, accordance with China's green low-carbon, recycling strategy.In this paper, the process equipment and process parameter on dry suspended granulation process was optimized based on the previous study. The effect of granulating equipment inner wall material on agglomeration was researched by comparing the results of granulation which use organic glass and PTFE as the inner wall material of granulation equipment. The effect of spray methods on granulation process were researched, by comparing the results of granulation which use pressure atomizing and ultrasonic atomization. The effect of dispersion degree of ceramic powder on the granulation was researched, by comparing the granulation results of whether to use loosen device. The effect of various technological parameters on the granulation were researched and obtain the optimal parameters combination by single factor experiment and orthogonal test of feed rate, wind speed and the binder content. And a thorough analysis of the granulation mechanism.The research results showed that, using PTFE as the material of the inner wall of humidifying device can effectively reduce agglomeration, improve receiving rate of more than 50%. The powder moisture content was improved significantly by increasing the number of double nozzle for atomizing nozzle. Powder moisture content reach more than 5% in the condition of wind speed 3.6m/s, feed rate 3.1kg/min, binder content CMC 1%. After add powder mixer device, powder in granulation equipment become more dispersion, receiving rate and powder moisture content increased. In the condition of single nozzle, without adding powder feeding device, Powder moisture content with the increase of the content of CMC increased first and then decreased, the best results in about 1%. In a certain range, the granulation effect increasing with the feed rate and the wind speed increasing. The particle size distribution, moisture content, particle shape and compression ratio of the green body powder are in line with the requirements of the industrial production for the green body powder.
