The answer to this question is also of great importance to us.This paper first studies and combs the mechanism and path of environmental regulation,industrial structure and government economic growth pressure in the existing literature.On this basis,the interaction mechanism between the three is analyzed.Then,select the relevant indicators,the use of 29 provinces,municipal 1998-2010 panel data for empirical research.The results show that:(1)we find that nationwide regulation can significantly promote the industrial structure to be reasonable.This positive effect is still in the eastern and central and western regions are established,not with the regional differences and change.However,it is worth noting that there is a certain difference in the size of this effect between regions,and the impact of environmental regulation in the east is greater than its impact in the Midwest.(2)On the one hand,the government's economic growth pressure directly hinders the process of industrial structure;the other hand,the government's economic growth pressure through the environmental regulatory path to reduce the environmental regulatory factors should have the effect.This mechanism of influence is significant in the west,while in the east is not significant.(3)We believe that the nationwide income level and the intensity of international trade have significantly affected the regional industrial structure.In the reunification of different regions,the impact mechanism of the two regions is different,but the income level of residents has not been affected by regional differences,and promoted the level of industrial structure.The reason we have analyzed three points:(1)local government economic growth pressure;(2)human capital;(3)international trade strength.
