Diacetone alcohol is an important intermediate for the use of acetone,which can be used to synthesize methyl methyl isobutyl ketone(MIBK)and methyl methyl isobutyl methanol(MIBC).The study of diacetone alcohol reaction process can expand the development of acetone downstream products and improve the added value of acetone.Process of diacetone alcohol dehydration hydrogenation synthesis MIBC,simplifies production process and reduce the cost of catalyst.This paper is to study the energy efficiency of the catalyst by adjusting the activity of the catalyst,the dynamic performance of the catalyst and the energy consumption of the process.We design a low energy consumption diacetone alcohol production process with 70%purity of diacetone alcohol.Firstly,the effects of different CaO contents on the catalytic performance were studied.At a high temperature of 40?,the byproducts of MO were started.The yield and selectivity of MO increased first and then decreased with the increase of CaO content,and reached the highest at the content of 5.46%.Secondly,the catalytic performance of BaO and CaO composite carriers was studied.The experimental results show that with the increase of BaO content,the catalytic performance is enhancing and then is decreasing.When the ratio is 0.91,the catalytic activity is the highest.Thirdly,the kinetic equation of reaction temperature at 0-30? was deduced,and the apparent activation energy of positive and negative reaction was obtained by Arrhenius equation.The kinetic equation of Ca-Ba-2 catalyst with the highest activity is:-rA=k+CA2-k_CB(?).Fourthly,we chose the Ca-Ba-2 catalyst with the highest activity and the reaction residence time was determined to be 66 min.The energy consumption of di acetone alcohol was the lowest at 10? reaction temperature by calculating the energy consumption of diacetone alcohol per unit yield at 0 to 40?.Finally,finish the energy accounting and material accounting of this process,draw the process flow chart with the control point,and the equipment is initially selected.The process design of this paper can further reduce the production cost of MIBC.
