RuCl3,bpy?bpy= 2,2'-bipyridine?,benzoic acid,DBM?DBM=dibenzoyl methane?and phenanthroline were used as starting materials to synthetize [Rubpy?BA?2]2+?[Rubpy?DBM?2]2+?[Rubpy?phen?2]2+ luminescent probe molecules.When doped into methyl methacrylate?MMA?,we can obtain [Rubpy?BA?2]2+/PMMA ? [Rubpy?DBM?2]2+/PMMA ? [Rubpy?phen?2]2+/PMMA temperature sensitive paint.The performance of the probe molecule and temperature sensitive paint were tested and analyzed,From the scanning electron microscope photograph we can know that probe molecule presents a layered polygonal structure.It can be seen from the result of infra-red spectrum?IR spectrum?that the structure of ligands kept well during the coordination process,and the UV absorption spectra shows that the best absorption band is located in the region of 210-350 nm.By fluorescence spectrum analysis,the optimal emission wavelength of the probe was found to 583,592 and 583 nm.Additional the fluorescence spectra shows that the emission intensity of temperature sensitive paint varies at different temperatures.The higher temperature is,the weaker fluorescence emission intensity will be.This indicates that the temperature sensitive paint has an outstanding temperature quenching characteristics.
