Research On Carbon Emission Of Residents' Consumption

With the continuous improvement of economic development in China,the consumption structure of residents and the consumption of carbon dioxide produced by residents are also changing.So far,the research of urban consumer carbon emissions in China is still relatively limited,the study in this paper will help strengthen the residents' awareness of carbon reduction and help the government introduce carbon reduction measures to reduce carbon emissions and delay climate warming.In this paper,the LMDI decomposition method is used to calculate and analyze the energy consumption and indirect energy consumption of Guangzhou residents.This paper explored the factors that affect the energy consumption of residents and the energy consumption of indirect energy consumption,defined the energy consumption of residents and the energy consumption of indirect energy consumption,and also accounted for residential energy consumption and indirect energy consumption of carbon emissions.According to the characteristics of Guangzhou,this study finally suggested the relevant government departments to develop low-carbon emission reduction measures to provide a theoretical basis.The conclusions are as follows: Guangzhou residential indirect energy consumption of carbon dioxide emissions is much larger than the Guangzhou residential living energy consumption of carbon dioxide emissions,and residential indirect energy consumption is closely related to production department.The factor that stimulates Guangzhou's residential indirect energy consumption of carbon dioxide emissions and its residential living energy consumption of carbon dioxide emissions is per capita income.The factor that suppresses those consumptions is the intensity of energy consumption.Population size,per capita income,and the energy consumption structure has a stimulating effect on these emissions of carbon dioxide from Guangzhou's residential living energy consumption of urban and rural residents.The intensity of energy consumption and the emission factor of carbon dioxide have a suppressing effect on the emissions of carbon dioxide from Guangzhou's residential living energy consumption of urban and rural residents.Urban and rural population structure has a stimulating effect on the emissions of carbon dioxide from Guangzhou's residential living energy consumption of urban residents,but has a suppressing effect on rural residents.Population size,per capita income,and the resident consumption structure have a stimulating effect on the emissions of carbon dioxide from Guangzhou's residential indirect energy consumption of urban and rural residents.The intensity of energy consumption and the emission intensity of carbon dioxide have a negative effect on the emissions of carbon dioxide from Guangzhou's residential indirect energy consumption of urban and rural residents.Urban and rural population structure has a stimulating effect on the emissions of carbon dioxide from Guangzhou's residential indirect energy consumption of urban residents,but has a suppressing effect on rural residents.
