China is a global powerful country of chemical pharmaceuticals production and export in the world. However, the existence of large numbers of small pharmaceuticals businesses in product repetition as well as technology of low levels accounts for the lack of new drug research ability, which in turn results in low economic benefit trends.Medicine and chemical industrial enterprises produce large quantities of varieties of organic solvent waste gases in their production process.Pharmaceutical enterprises, which have a large number of types of products, usually adopt intermittent production at the same time and causes the big changes of specification,in addition, the methods of emissions and concentration varies from time to time. The characteristics of the medical waste gases make the technology of dealing with them complicated. What's more, the enterprises are forced to bear the high processing cost, and the efficiency of getting rid of waste gases is low. Thus, finding an efficient way to deal with medical waste gases at low costs is the key issue of this paper, which is one of the main research contents. This article selects the nitrogen seal technology, catalytic oxidation technology as the main body, including the medical waste treatment process and operation cost analysis.According to the study of the treatment of waste gases of a pharmaceutical chemical industry, the actual running results show that the removal rate of organic waste gases reached more than 98%,which agreed with the dust emission standard and achieved the goal of environmental protection. And this technology has the advantages of covering only a small area of land, stable running, convenient operation, high automation degree, especially suitable for medicine and chemical industry.
