Research Of Graphite Oxide/Chitosan On Cotton Fabirc For Ultraviolet Ressitance Via Layer-by-Layer Self-assembly

A pressurized oxidation based on the Hummers method is developed to prepare the Graphite Oxide named self-made-graphite oxide(SGO).The SGO,together with graphene oxide(GO)and HGO which prepared by Hummers method,is indicated by X-Ray Diffraction(XRD),FT-IR Spectrometer(FT-IR),atomic force(AFM)and UV-Visible Spectrophotometer(UV-Vis).The XRD patterns shows the diffraction peaks at(001)and(002)planes are typical Graphite oxide and Graphite respectively.The FT-IR spectra shows the presence of oxygenated functional groups.The AFM tests show the thickness of HGO and SGO are about 20 nm and 16 nm.The UV-Vis tests indicates the C-C absorption peak without C=O absorption peak.After preparing the Graphite oxide,the graphite and chitosan are used to deal with the unfinished cotton fabric via LBL assembly technique for ultraviolet resistance.The Specific process conditions are as follows:Firstly,I choose two assembly systems from three ones.The two systems are(HGO/CS)n and(SGO/CS)n.In the pretreatment process,I just consider the weight average molecular weight of PEI,and ignore the external conditions,such as bath ratio,processing time,processing tenperature,washing and drying conditions.Finally,the weight average molecular weight approaching 10000 is chosen as cationic.As for the substrate,I only pay attention to the gram per square meter,regardless of the colour,woven fabric structure,and the yam structure.It turns out that the gram per square meter is a fetal factor for the results.In order to get the suitable process parameters,the orthogonal experimental method is used.I finally get two assembly systems for(HGO/CS)n and(SGO/CS)n respectively.One is A2B1C3 for(SGO/CS)n system,the other is A1B3C3 for(HGO/CS)n.The A2B1C3 means:SGO concentration is 1 mg/mL,processing time is 15 min,the layers are 7.The AlB3C3 means:HGO concentration is 0.5 mg/mL,processing time is 25min,the layers are 7.A film which coves the surface of cotton febric and the cotton fibers is observed by SEM.After LBL assembly process,the characteristic of cotton fibers become vague.The more the cotton febric is finished,the thickness of the film.The anti-ultraviolet fabric is made after testing the two kinds of finishing cloth.The parameter are:UPF value is 79.49,T(UVA)is 1.61%and T(UVB)is 1.11%for(SGO/CS)n system after 1.5 times of LBL assembly process,UPF value is 82.35,T(UVA)is 1.61%and T(UVB)is 1.13%for(HGO/CS)n system after 3.5 times of LBL assembly process.
