Tianjin,as a port city in the northern of china and the equipment manufacturing base in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration, has made rapid progress in its industrial economy in recent years. But at the same time,a large number of industrial waste emissions also causes great environmental pollution, its outstanding performance is the foggy weather is increasing, which has a lot of adverse effects on the production, life, especially people's health. However, the current research on industrial waste gas pollution is still mainly concentrated in the greenhouse gas industry, carbon dioxide emissions, but for industrial emissions of haze main components, such as the increasingly serious pollution of SO2,the relevant empirical research is still rare.Therefore.this paper intends to make an systematic empirical study on the evolution of Tianjin's industrial structure and its impact on SO2 emissions. The article includes six chapters. The first chapter analyzes the background and significance of the research and leads to the research idea on the basis of the domestic and foreign research status. The second chapter includes the theoretical basis, which contains the general rule of industrial structure evolution, chenery industrialization stage theory, circular economy theory, sustainable development theory and the theory of the environmental kuznets curve. These theories provide a theoretical basis for Follow-up study. The third chapter is about the description of the current situation. The article analyzes the contrasts trends of industrial development and SO2 emission and emission Intensity in Tianjin and finds that SO2 emission and industrial output show an upward trend, but SO2 emission intensity shows a downward trend. The next fourth chapter and the fifth chapter, with the analysis of the trend of SO2 emissions and emission intensity, respectively analyze the impact of factors of them, especially the influence of industrial structure evolution. The fourth chapter analyzes the influencing factors of SO2 emissions by the STIRPAT model, and find the industrial structure?the proportion of high energy consumption industrial output value to represent the industrial structure?,population scale, rich level and energy consumption structure?the proportion of coal consumption in industrial energy consumption represents the energy consumption structure?significantly promotes the growth of industrial SO2 emissions. However, the improvement of technical level plays an important role in reducing emissions of SO2.The fifth chapter analyzes the influencing factors of SO2 emission intensity by the LMDI decomposition method. The study finds that the evolution of industrial structure?the proportion of the added value of each sector in industry represents industrial structure?led to an increase in SO2 emission intensity during the "Eleventh Five-Year" period and the effect of the industrial structure on the emission intensity of SO2 in "Tenth Five-Year" and "Twelfth Five-Year "was significantly weaker than the energy intensity effect. Finally, the sixth chapter summarizes the conclusions of this paper about the impact of industrial structure on SO2 emissions and emission intensity.According to the characteristics of industrial development in Tianjin, the sixth chapter gives some suggestions to reduce SO2 emissions by optimizing the internal industry structure, energy consumption structure and promoting energy conservation.
