Preparation And Properties Study Of Basalt Fiber Acupuncture Composite Filter Media

With the continuous improvement of people's environmental awarene-s,and the continuous improvement of environmental requirements,how to better re-duce the heavy industry of high-temperature flue gas emissions has become an incr-easingly important topic of concern.Therefore,to carry out high temperature filter materials related to its industrial application has an important role in guiding.Based on the research status and problems of basalt fiber acupuncture compound filter media,basalt fiber?BF?and polyphenylene sulfide fiber?PPS?were used as raw materials to prepare a new type of basalt composite filter media,for the purpose of improving its main performance and service life.The main research contents and achievements are as follows:?1?Basalt fibers and polyphenylene sulfide fiber performance are tested,such as the appearance of this class,chemical composition,strong,temperature resistance,chemical resistance and so on.Basalt fiber almost contains no TiO₂,and Al₂O₃,CaO is low.MgO,Na₂O,K₂O and other material is too high.As result,basalt fiber is poor in chemical resistance than the polyphenylene sulfide fiber;basalt fiber is higher than polyphenylene sulfide fiber in the high temperature resistance.?2?Designing four types of base fabric,namely single layer pure basalt fabric,single layer BF/PPS fabric,double pure basalt fabric,double layer BF/PPS fabric;Weight,abrasion resistance,permeability,tensile,crease,chemical resistance are tested and analyzed,so the performance of interwoven fabric is more excellent.?3?The effect of acupuncture depth,fiber mass ratio and acupuncture density on the permeability,filtration and tensile properties of composite filter is studied by orthogonal test design with single layer BF/PPS fabric.The results showed that the fiber weight ratio?BF/PPS?is 50/50,the needling depth is 7mm,the needling density is 102.0g/cm²,the density of needle is 1740 pieces/m and the prefabricated material is 1.20m/min.?4?According to the optimization results of the base fabric and the acupuncture process,to do comparative analysis,two composite media materials are designed and fabricated;One is the composite filter media with double/layer BF/PPS fabric and 50/50BF/PPS as fiber mesh,another composite filter media is double/layer BF/PPS fabric and100%PPS as fiber mesh for the for comparative.?5?The results show that the two kinds of composite filter fiber webs are more uniform and the elongation at break is smaller;And the filtration efficiency of particles with particle size above 10?m is more than 96%,the particle size above 5?m is more than 90%,the particle size above 0.3?m is more than 19%;It is better to maintain strength and elongation after alkali treatment.The composite filter with double layer BF/PPS fabric as the base fabric,100%PPS have a strong retention rate after acid and alkali treatment.?6?The entanglement coefficient and bulk density of the composite filter media with double/layer BF/PPS fabric and 50/50 BF/PPS as fiber mesh are larger;The entanglement effect is good;The air permeability and the porosity are small;The filtration efficiency is higher under the five kinds of particle size;The vertical and transverse strength and elongation retention are higher at high temperature.?7?The composite filter with double BF/PPS fabric as the base fabric,50/50 BF/PPS for network not only improve the filter breaking strength,tensile strength,temperature resistance,wear resistance,Filter effect,but also improve the service life of the filter;so it is cost-effective that it can ensure that the composite filter has good filtering effect in the harsh environment,also reduce the number of filter replacement.
