In the past years,risk management has been an indispensable component of modern enterprise management system.The risk management of engineering project,a combined discipline of engineering project management and risk management,is an important component of engineering project construction management.The risk management of project in each stage is the important guarantee to successfully complete the project and develop socio-economic interest.The research and application of project risk management,a reliable and successful project construction,will be essential to guide project organization,minimizing the risk losses at the least resource consumption.As the important pillar industry in China,chemical industry is significance to China's socio-economic development.The chemical units have the following characteristics:flammable and combustible,high-temperature and high-pressure,and highly corrosive and toxic,etc.Moreover,chemical units also have the large-scale investment of chemical units,long construction cycle,complicated process,and related professional and risk factors.As a result,it is important to intensify risk management research in order to pursue project success.At the beginning of project construction,the advices for security are proposed through previous quantitative risk assessment of units,recognition and analysis for risk and harmful factors amid production and construction,and judgment about possibilities and severity that the risk will materialize.It provides the scientific evidences for precautionary measures and managerial policies of project.The present security analysis for risk is difficult to estimate the risk factors for resulting security and make a conclusion to the effectiveness of corresponding countermeasures at the beginning of projection construction.The paper utilizes the Styrene Chemical unit of Q Corporation under construction as an object of study to find out the safety risk quantitative assessment and corresponding countermeasures for the initial phase of chemical unit conduction.Firstly,according to the main process of Styrene Chemical unit of Q corporation,it analyzed the security and risk factors qualitatively amid production and construction.Secondly,it analyzed t safety risk factors quantitatively according to analysis hierarchy process(AHP).According to the results,it found out responding effective measures on back of the fault tree method.Thirdly,drawing on LOPA,it utilized admissible social risk criterion to make quantitative analysis for the effectiveness of corresponding countermeasures.The research result for Styrene Chemical Units of Q corporation formulates risk control countermeasures,and has certain reference and application significance for decreasing risk losses and increasing economic benefits.Meanwhile,it provides a feasible evaluation for the same types of Styrene Chemical Units with safety,risk and corresponding countermeasures at the beginning of project construction.
