As a advanced drilling technology developed in recent years,the under-balanced drilling(UBD)technology has great advantages so that more and more oil company have pay attention to the development and application of it.Basing on the fact that the rubber sealing core of the rotary control head is very easily damaged during work and combining the research status of the rotary control head,this paper developed a newly high pressure rotary control head.Through the mechanical design method and the use of Solidworks software we established a three-dimensional model,and then this model is imported to Workbench for finite element analysis.According to the results of the analysis,the optimization design of the rotary control head has been conducted.This work provides methods and theoretical guidance for improving the research and development of high pressure rotary control head in china.And has important significance and application value to promote the development and application of the balanced drilling technology in our country.According to the research method and the development direction of the rotary control head combined with the existing domestic and international rotary control head,the specific research program is determined.According to the target that the rotating control head needed to reach,combined with its working principle and conditions,by using the traditional method of mechanical design we conducted the preliminary design of the overall structure of the rotary control head.Furthermore,a three-dimensional model and the overall structure of the assembly is established by the use of SolidWorks software.According to the investigation of the rotary control head sealing device and aiming at dealing with the problems happened in the field,according to the requirements of the field work and combined with the existing mature technology,the device of a sealing scheme is determined,and is perfectly designed.By verifying this newly designed device meet the needs to solve the present sealing device.According to the working conditions and analyses of the main components of the rotary control head,the loads and constraints of the main components was determined by calculation.Then the finite element analysis and checking of the main stress parts of shell,the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder was conducted by using the ANSYS Workbench software.In view of the problems existing in the cooling and lubricating system of the rotary control head at present stage,a reliable cooling and lubricating system is designed.Adopting the cooling and lubricating of the whole oil path,the intermittent type lubrication cooling mode is designed,which solves the problem of the debris retention in the bottom of the bearing.
