The Research On The Design Of Personalized Children’s Bedclothes

Chinese household textile industry has been greatly improved both in quality and quantity after decades of development,but the children’s bedding designs in China’s textile industry are slightly backward.With the improvement of the people’s standard of living and the increase of population,sustainable development of children’s bedding is particularly important.Based on data analysis,field visits,questionnaires and comparisons between Chinese and foreign typical cases,this paper puts forward the major problems in the design of children’s bed products,and tries to come up with a new way for children’s bedding designs and development in China.The first chapter introduces the background,significance and status quo of children’s bedding design in China.The second chapter analyzes the current situation of Chinese children bedding designs,describing the development of the children’s bedding designs from scratches,focusing on the Chinese children’s bedding design problems and weaknesses,pointing out the fact of lacking in the "individuality" about children’s bedding designs.The third chapter illustrates the rationality and importance of children’s bedding designs from the aspects of children’s growth,gender differences,industry development and early education.The fourth chapter,based on the typical examples of children’s bedding designs both in China and foreign countries,makes it clear where deficiencies of children’s bedding designs in China lie,by making comparisons among the cultural connotations,designing concepts,material choosing,manufacturing techniques and the intension expressing.The fifth chapter offers solutions to the problems of Chinese children bedding designs in terms of cultural connotations and the renewal of designing concepts.
