The method for the identification of coating on fabric is mostly Fourier Infrared Spectroscopy.This paper uses the combustion method,microscope by slicing observation,dissolved method and infrared spectrum method to identify the coating.Using the method of peeling with hands and dissolved method carries on the quantitative analysis of coated fabric.This paper discusses the base fabric coating agent adsorption mechanism with the direct measurement and indirect measurement methods.It analyzes the composition of base cloth fiber,surface roughness,the content of coating on the influence of the coated fabric adsorption,the appearance of different coated fabric test analysis,mechanics performance and chemical performance.The experimental results show that when using qualitative analysis to analyzethe coating fabric,it is necessary to combine two and more kinds of identification methods,and although the infrared spectroscopy method is more accurate than other methods,but it's not applicable for the mixed fabric.Tetrahydrofuran can dissolve polyvinyl chloride coating at normal temperature;cyclohexanone and dimethyl sulfoxide can dissolve the coating of polyacrylate.The reagent selected for dissolving the neoprene coated fabric is N,N-dimethylformamide,tetrahydrofuran or cyclohexanone.For the coated fabric of polyurethane,the optimum solution is dimethyl formamide or dimethyl sulfoxide.The qualitydeviation of the coating and the base cloth fiber parallel sample is 0.22% ~1.31% when using peeling method for quantitative analysis of coated fabric;and using the method of dissolving,coating agent and base fabric quality percentage of each fiber parallel sample the relative deviation is 0.28%~2.48%,the results of the peeling method are more stable and accurate than the dissolved method.In addition,the dissolving method is used to analyze the composite fabric with fiber and coating,the test samples of each group are of good parallelism,but the result deviation is larger than the actual toppings.The mechanism of coating on base cloth includes the adsorption capacity of the coating,the protection mechanism of the coating and the properties of the coating.The effect of fabric coating on the adsorption of the base cloth of the staple fiber was found by experiments.For the coated fabric of the same base cloth,the rougher surface of the fabric to a certain extent,the stronger the adsorption capacity is;The higher the content of the coating,the less the coating will absorb the base cloth.The permeability of coated fabric is generally poor.Coated fabric of waterproof and moisture permeability,tensile and fracture properties and the content of coating and base fabric fiber composition,the greater the content of coating and the thicker the coating,the better the waterproof and moisture permeability and tear,fracture properties of the coated fabric are,the bigger the base fabric fiber moisture regain,the poorerwaterproof performance is,the good tear and tensile resistance of the base cloth enhance the performance of the coated fabric accordingly.The thermal insulation properties of coated fabrics are mainly determined by the fabric fiber composition.The coating has no obvious effect on the thermal insulation of the products.The weatherability of coated fabric is related to the coating and base fabric fiber components.The same coating,wool fabric has the best weatherability.The resistance of polyvinyl chloride is superior to that of other coatings.The coating determines the aging resistance of the coated fabric,and the results show that the resistance of the surface chloroprene rubber is the best and the polypropylene acid ester coating has the worst aging performance.
