As the complex changes in the current international security situation and the increasing number of terrorist activities,security checks in public places have been strengthened and become an increasingly important task to effectively prevent terrorist attacks.Small X-ray security inspection equipment has been widely used for security checks in certain sectors of many countries,such as civil aviation,customs,courts,etc.The small X-ray security inspection equipment has become necessary equipment in a variety of major events and activities.With the popularization and application of such equipment in the high-end market,such as civil aviation,high-speed rail,courts and other important international tournaments,the equipment is required to have high reliability.Run continuously over a long period of time without frequent failure and long downtime.Otherwise,it will cause very serious consequences.As a result,the reliability issue of small X-ray security inspection equipment has become a very important subject.It is a very important and significant task to study on the reliability issue and improvement measures of X-ray security inspection equipment.In the study of the subject,this paper evaluates the reliability index level of one type of equipment based on the statistical data of the sample equipment;systematically analyzes the reason why the reliability index of the equipment does not meet the requirements,focusing on analyzing the reliability design factors which may lead to the equipment failure;develops product reliability improvement programs based on the results of analysis to eliminate these factors of failure;verifies and summarizes the improvement programs proposed in this paper by the development and reliability test of new prototypes.This paper first puts forward the systematic method that can be applied to the study and analysis of the reliability issue for this type of equipment,and makes analysis by adopting fishbone diagram,brainstorming,failure modes,influence and harmfulness analysis and other methods.This paper also analyzes systematically the status quo of product reliability,the causes of failure and the design programs of reliability in the reliability design,reliability test,reliability evaluation,reliability control,reliability management and other aspects.After completing the new prototype developed based on the programs of thissubject,scientific and rational reliability test programs are designed and verified according to the characteristics of the product and the actual operating environment.The research methods and programs summarized in this paper have high practicability and economy because they are in line with the actual needs of industry development.If these methods and programs are valued highly in the enterprise and can be promoted and implemented carefully,it will bring considerable business benefits.I believe there will be more and more new technologies and new processes developed and applied to this industry.
