Water conservancy is the foundation of the national economy and sluice is an important part of water conservancy project, a large number of sluice project is built in our country. But most sluices have been worked for decades in our country, different degree of damage has been appeared which is seriously effecting the project benefit, threating downstream people's life and property and restricting the development of national economy.It is necessary to research the sluices service status to provide theoretical basis to decided dilapidated sluices to be reinforced and falled or retired.Based on various comprehensive evaluation of domestic and foreign theories and methods, the matter-element extension evaluation model and neural network comprehensive evaluation model are used to simulate the sluices security, and to evaluate sluices service status comprehensively connecting the economy, environment and ecologicyl. Main contents are as follows:(1) The forms of sluice disease, ecognition methods of engineering diseases and recognition technology have been analysised in this paper. Sluice safety evaluation index system is built, The qualitative evaluation methods of quantitative evaluation index and the dimensionless methods are studied.(2) The weighting method which is based on the order relation analysis method (G1) and maximizing deviation method improved whitenization weight function is put forward. In addition,the Matter-element extension evaluation model is analyzed.The feasibility of Matter-element extension model is verified by examples.(3) Artificial neural network is studied in the paper, furthermore the neural network trained by MATLAB neural network toolbox is used to simulate and evaluate the status of sluice security. Compared with neural network simulation model and matter-element extension model calculation results, the reliability of the two models is analyzed.(4) Considering the current sluice service status evaluation in China, general principles of sluice service status assessment which should be follow the maximum of social and economic benefit, or minimal negative impact on the environment and ecologicy is put forward, four prespecttives of the specific social economic efficiency, safety, environment and ecologicy sluices should be taken into account, loss evaluation methods of slucies the economy, environment and ecologicy are preliminary studied, corresponding standards are formulated combined with the possibility and the severity of the slucies crash.(5) Based on object-oriented program design, dilapidated sluices service status analysis system was developed.The ultimate goal of this system is to assesse the service status of sluices...
