With Chinese urbanization, prestressed tension with many advantages has been widely used. As the process of prestressed tension is complex and nonlinear, it occurs a variety of unusual problems. Therefore, there is still not a perfect tension control model and a set of smart tension device. This paper aims at establishing a tension control model which meets the construction requirements, and designs a set of smart tension device.First, the paper analyzes the function requirements of the new smart tension device and finish designing the overall program of tension system which consists of a industrial touch tablet PC, two micro controllers, communication system, sensor measurement system and jack-hydraulic variable speed system under the distributed control system with hybrid network made up of bus network and star network.Second, based on the modular principle, the hardware of the tension system is divided into the power supply module, the cord control module based DSP and the external auxiliary circuit module. Then, the study will finish designing each circuit.Third, the division of software is carried out between the master controller and the slaver controller depending on their respective performance. The software of the master controller, including human-computer interaction, process control, data storage and communication, is compiled in the Windows environment with VC++ language. The software of the slaver controller, including date collection and procession, controlled algorithm and communication, is compiled in the CCS with C language.Finally, the study establishes a physical model of the jack-hydraulic variable speed system and completes speed compensation after analyzing this model. Based on the both speed compensation and fuzzy self-tuning PID, the controlled algorithm is researched and designed, and then simulated in the MATLAB. The result shows that the static and dynamic performance of the algorithm are excellent. Therefore, this paper completes the control strategy of the prestressed tension. And the result shows that the error of the tension and elongation are within 1% and 2% respectively.This paper designs a new smart tension device which has been wildly used all over the country and behave perfectly after debugging and improving. Therefore, this researchhas promoted the development of prestressed device greatly.
