As a renewable energy, Biomass causes extensive attention; many countries vie for the research direction of its development and utilization. In terms of development and utilization, the CGC-IGCC(Coal Gasification Co-generation-Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle) system researched and developed by Wuhan Hydro New Energy company has more advantages of high production, environmental protection, high efficiency. The main purpose of this paper is for the system design a measuring control system to realize automatic manual preliminary control function.First of all, this paper expounds the main functions of the CGC-IGCC system: the wood or straw under the condition of high temperature gasification, we get coal output and biomass gas, and a small amount of tar, etc. The system contains four main cycles: material cycle, biomass gas cycle and heat cycle, water cycle. Above cycles are realized by biomass powder supply system, biomass gas gasification system, biomass gas purification system, biomass gas conveying system and cooling water circulation system. Then above each subsystem are analyzed in detail about the composition and working process.At present, the requirement of the measurement control system must have both manual and automatic control mode. In automatic control, to achieve fully automated a mathematic model of the system for the future, this thesis gives measurement control system of each sensor and analyzer in the selection of the CGC-IGCC system, including temperature, pressure, humidity, flow sensor, and the gas composition analyzer to realize the real-time monitoring of the system. After the measuring system confirmed, the control system focuses on 64 analog acquisitions module of hardware circuit design and PLC program design. In addition, we take the most representative in the subsystem of sealing material component E30 T. 1As for instance and design the manual- automatic electrical diagram, then analyze its control logic, and designs the hardware circuit. We use Kingview6.5 who is designed by Beijing Yakong Tech Company as the PC configuration software and finish preliminary debugging success.After field operation commissioning, the operation result is: the manual control part of the measuring control system can run normally, and PLC automatic control part can preliminary operation. At present the partial physical quantities can be detected, for example, some of the important monitoring temperature. But there are still some physical quantities, such as flow, pressure etc. monitoring still need further perfect. Finally based on the experimental data, it is concluded that this thesis puts forward the scheme to realize the CGC-IGCC system measurement and control to ensure the safety of the whole system, stable and economic operation. In addition, aimed at improving the efficiency of gasification and gives some suggestions, not only for measuring the working condition of biomass gasification in the future control to provide certain reference, and for large-scale construction provide a basis for the industrial gasifier with high yields.
