A Research On The Effect Of Safety Participation Of Construction Workers On Their Safety Behavior

In recent years, the safety situation of the construction industry is still not optimistic, and most of the construction accidents are caused by the unsafe behavior of construction workers. The safety participation of construction workers has an important effect on safety behavior, which is often ignored in the accident analysis. For this reason, this article try to analyze the relationship between the safety participation of construction workers and their safety behavior, in the meantime, several new suggestions are put forward to improve the safety level of the construction industry.Firstly, based on a large number of literature reading, this thesis summarized the characteristics of construction industry and construction workers in China and analyzed the problems faced in the safety management in construction industry. Pre-investigation method was adopted to collect and process the data of the safety situation of construction workers. With the statistical data and the analysis of the existing problems, it showed that the safety situation of the construction industry was still not optimistic, especially in the area of safety participation with the lowest score. More importantly, it turned out that there existed some relationship among the safety participation, safety consciousness, safety behavior and safety climate. Then, based on the existing research results, a hypothesis on the relationship among the safety participation, safety consciousness, safety behavior and safety climate was put forward, and a model of the effect route was built, with the questionnaire to collect data.Then, Amos software was used to revise the model, and the resulting data was used to analyze the causal effect. The result showed that safety participation, safety consciousness and safety climate has positive impact of safety behavior. Among them, safety climate has indirect effects on safety behavior, safety consciousness has direct effects on safety behavior, safety participation has both direct and indirect effects on safety behavior, which also has the greatest causal effect on safety behavior. At last, combined the resulting analysis of the causal effect and the information collected by the questionnaire, this article proposed some incentives for safety participation of the construction workers, which improving the safety level of the construction industry.
