In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy, the phenomenon of traffic congestion has become the norm of urban life. Traffic congestion will not only reduce the operational efficiency of urban traffic, but also restrict the healthy development of the national economy. Therefore ease traffic congestion to improving the efficiency of the traffic has become a problem to be solved. But the traditional single point of control, arterial signal control is helpless in the face of large-scale network, so we need some new ideas. In this article, urban traffic network is the research object, introduce the control theory of the consensus, switching control to the field of urban areas, and design a set of signal control to alleviate the urban traffic congestion phenomenon, improve the traffic efficiency, and we designed a VISSIM secondary development software.First of all, in this paper, the traffic signal control of traffic network with unbalanced traffic flow distribution is the research object, design feedback control law. By feedback control, crowed road release more, comfortable road release less, so we can improve the efficiency of whole network. At the same time, via simulation of different traffic demand, verifying algorithm is efficient to ease supersaturated transportation network congestion phenomenon.Then, in this paper, the traffic signal control of the intersection with changeable traffic condition is the next research object, aiming at time-varying phenomena of the traffic flow in real life, design the switching control law, base on the situation of the entire road network traffic flow and itself, intersection switch between different control strategies, fully excavate the advantages of different control strategies, foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses. And through the actual road network simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.Finally, for secondary development of VISSIM, this paper designed a set of based on VISSIM simulation platform, realizes the cycle, offset and spilt modularization of development, through the simulation platform can quickly verify the validity of the corresponding algorithm.
