As an efficient junction center of the high-speed rail transport in the country and Shenzhen, Shenzhen North Station transportation hub project is a multi-vehicle stereo transfer center of high-speed rail station, coach, subway, bus, taxi and social vehicles, as well as a business center. However, quality risk management in construction industry is relatively backward at present. It is necessary to conduct effective risk management for this project, and thus lower the risk level. This is important for project stakeholders.This dissertation took Shenzhen North Station transportation hub project as an example. On the basis of analyzing the related literature, combined with the characteristic which is huge, complex, numerous cross and difficult to construct, an indicator system for quality risk assessment was developed through questionnaire survey and analysis. The system included 16 risk factors from the aspects of human factors, material factors, methods factors, mechanical equipment and environmental factors. Then, this dissertation assessed the project's quality risk level with fuzzy synthetic evaluation technique. Results showed that the quality risk of the project in the construction phase was between “moderate risk” and “general risk”, and close to “general risk”. This suggested that there were certain risks in the project, but risk of this level had a relatively low impact on the quality objective. Meanwhile, we should note that the comprehensive risk level was very close to the “general risk” level, so the project-related personnel should pay great attention to risk factors contributing to quality problems. As risk factors related to mechanical equipment and environment are most risky, special attention was also required. Finally, this dissertation developed a systematic risk management process, including risk identification, risk assessment, risk response and risk monitoring. Moreover, different risk response strategies such as improving management system, regulating the procedure, standardizing construction and supervision, increasing investment, enhancing prevention measures and so on were put forward accordingly.
