Study On Color Characteristics And Its Dynamic Continuity Of Modern Historic Building Of Changchun

Since late 20 th century,rapid urban construction has taken place all over the country with the continuous development of industrialization and urbanization.However,the urban planning design in our country is mainly dominated by the approach based on organizing the material and function,without much attention to morphology of the urban spiritual and art.That has led to the gradual loss of the current city historical context and regional features,which is particularly manifested in urban colors.Urban construction lacks a sense of overall planning and scientific intention.The old buildings cannot receive adequate protection and the mass construction of new buildings in disorder has got urban color out of control,resulting in their stereotypic images.Modern historical buildings in Changchun City are the products of historical development and the important physical carrier of urban culture.It has an irreplaceable historical value,and its color,as the prime visual element,has unique art aesthetics and comes as an important part of its urban characteristics.However,in the process of fast development,it also plunges into the plight of the gradual loss of regional characteristics,urgent for effective protection and inheritance.Based on the theories of city color research,regionalism theory and the research on urban historical building preservation,the color resource database has been built in the thesis by use of the first-hand color data information obtained from the interview survey on historical building colors of Changchun City.The thesis provides direct database for the protection,renovation and planning design of the historical building colors in the city.In combination with the physical property and composition pattern of the building materials,the modern historical buildings in the city have been analyzed from individual investigation to category classifications from different perspectives.Then in light of its development background,the thesis makes a thorough investigation on the color networkof the city.In the end,on the basis of the first-hand data,proposals on the corresponding protection and renovation approaches for the different modern historical buildings are given.The definition of new regionalism color is introduced to explore the dynamic extension strategy of modern historical building colors,in an attempt to provide proper suggestions and thoughts for the protection of the city's historical buildings,the renovation of its historical street colors and the color design planning of the whole city,in order to better realize urban culture inheritance.
