The excellent modern historic buildings have witnessed the rise and fall of the city, carry the wisdom of the people's sweat, and most of them are currently in use. Considering the fact which the modern historic buildings are faced with, such as the "new" and "old" contradictions caused by conflict of values during the protection and reuse in the process of project implementation, the "destructive" protection and reuse caused by cognitive biases of building values, the unsatisfactory project implementation effect because of the unscientific decision-making process for reuse, the thesis have the study of decision-making for adaptive reuse of modern historic buildings.First of all, the thesis promotes to have compatibility reuse for modern historic buildings based on value protection and sustainable development, through the theory study of adaptive reuse and decision-making, and puts forwards the influencing factor system for the fuctional decision-making of modern historic buildings reuse project considering the building's status and its social and economic environment.Secondly, the thesis divides the project decision-making process into two stages, one is situation assessment and the other is reuse alternatives evaluation, through the method research of modern historic buildings reuse project decision-making, then puts forwards the project decision-making model based on the integration of ARP model which is used to have situation assessment and ANP method which is used to have alternatives evaluation. Finally, the thesis applies the decision model to the decision-making process for adaptive reuse project decision-making of the former Guangdong bank site located in Wuhan city, to have the empirical analysis. Through the construction status and geographical location analysis, the thesis concludes it has very high historical and cultural value, remains relatively intact and has advantageous geographical location. Then, the thesis concludes its adatptive reuse potential is high using ARP model, using the method of ANP model(BCR) to determine the alternative A3(museum) as the most appropriate reuse alternative by conducting the ANP(BCR model) alternative evaluation method. What's more, the thesis also conducts the sensitivity analysis for the alternatives evaluation, puts forward the general process of modern historic buildings reuse project decision-making. And the case study also shows that the proposed modern historic buildings reuse project decision-making model with rationality and maneuverability.
