| Historical built-up area is the concentrated area of city history and local culture, the protection value is very self-evident. After hundreds of years, these areas’ ability of disaster prevention is very weak. The seismic activity in China is very wide-ranging, the Earthquakes of M≥7.0 is almost distributed throughout the country. Since 2008, the occurrence of strong earthquakes in China mainland is very frequently, which shows that the seismically active period is beginning again. While the earthquake caused heavy casualties and property losses, it also damaged considerable quantities of historical built-up area. Innumerable historical buildings and districts with high historical and cultural value had suffered from a great calamity. Although the loss caused by earthquake is disastrous and the earthquake prediction is very difficult, we can reduce the earthquake damage to historic built-up areas to a minimum by reasonable human intervention. Therefore, strengthening the earthquake resistance capability of historic built-up areas and enhancing its comprehensive security and defense levels, is quite important.The present study is a project that based on the National Natural Science Foundation project “research of the historical built-up areas’ security system based on the dynamic simulation”(No.51178297). This study was approved by data collection of earthquake in China mainland, combined with the distribution and the earthquake disaster prevention ability of Chinese historic built-up areas. Then analyzed the disaster risk security planning systems at historic buildings in Japan as a reference, put forward the earthquake resistance and hazardous safety system of historic built-up areas in China, to amend scientific guidance for the disaster protection of the historic built-up areas.Firstly, the article defines the concept of historic built-up areas in distribution and character, and research on basic concepts of earthquake resistance and hazardous safety. Secondly, summarize the space and time laws, causes and influence factor of direct earthquake disaster and secondary earthquake disaster, comparing to the distribution of historical built-up areas, the suffered disaster situations and damage influence of historical built-up areas is discussed. Thirdly, by research on the concept of disaster prevention, legal system, management system and disaster planning system, summarize enlightenment and reference to earthquake resistance system of historic built-up areas in China. Then, based on the above, build the earthquake resistance and hazardous safety system of historic built-up areas in China, for each system make specifically addressed the contents. Finally, taking Anshandao historic district for example, make an investigation about its historical and cultural connotation and earthquake prevention ability, and build targeted earthquake resistance system. |
