Study On Project Management Maturity Of Ningxia Water Investment Group

With the global integration process,the project is becoming the main form of foreign enterprises struggle,the project management is a magic weapon for enterprises to win the competition.In the fierce market competition,enterprises are eager to seek a tool for objective evaluation of their project management level,through horizontal comparison find that the lack of project management,explore a scientific way to improve the level of project management continuously,achieve the strategic goal.Project management maturity model is an effective tool to help enterprises achieve this goal.Project management maturity model is the product of a certain stage of development of management discipline,not only is a ruler and standard to measure the level of enterprises project management accurately,and is a scientific approach that can guide enterprises to improve the project management level continuously.Ningxia Water Investment Group is a state-owned enterprise established in accordance with the modern enterprise system,has completed many large water conservancy and hydropower project management,manages dozen important water supply enterprises,is planning to undertake overseas development,now is in charge of Ningxia central and southern area(Guyuan area)urban and rural drinking water project management.This project is an important water conservancy project supported by the state,is related to the draft,life and development of millions of people.The objective evaluation of Ningxia Water Investment Group project management level is an urgent need of project?enterprise and industry development,has very important practical significance and research value.This study takes Ningxia Water Investment Group as the research object,firstly analyzes the mainstream project management maturity model,choses the project management standards provided by the American Project Management Institute as the theoretical basis of the study;and secondly researches the present situation of project management of Ningxia Water Investment Group from the perspective of project management level,selectes the project management maturity as the research object,takes Ningxia central and southern area(Guyuan area)urban and rural drinking water project as a case study;thirdly bases on project management standards,builds the evaluation index system of sigle project management maturity of Ningxia Water Investment Group from project management knowledge ara and project management process,invites experts to evaluate the pairwise comparison matrix of evaluation index system and the actual effect of project management of the case,adopts analytic hierarchy process and grey evaluation method,calculates the overall evaluation result and the evaluation results of the specific index layer of project management maturity of Ningxia Water Investment Group,uses the fuzzy evaluation method and the cloud model method to validate the evaluation results at the same time;finally proves the effectiveness of the evaluation index system by case study,adopts the thingking of the organizational project management maturity model provided by the American Project Management Institute and the principle of the importance-performance ananlysis,sets up the “weight-Maturity grade score” grid pattern,puts forward the scientific way and reasonable suggestions to improve the project management of Ningxia Water Investment Group,achieves the purpose of the study.This study provides a complete solution for practical problems,meets the requirements of the engineering master academic research focusing on using knowledge to solve practical problems.At the same time,this study is an empirical study on the project management standards,which provides a good reference for similar research.Finally,this study also has some shortcomings,which needs to be improved through more in-depth study and more systematic research.
