After the tens years development, the Tianjin traffic system are very perfected already, but with the development of economic and the rapid increases in traffic flow, resulting in bridges and roads in Tianjin city in the way of overload service state for a long time, at last, the way of winter deicing salt which resulting in the roads and bridges destroyed seriously. In addition, after ten years operation, the Tianjin traffic also need maintenance and renovation. The traditional maintenance mode of roads and bridges is when the roads or bridges` performance were very low, the maintain action is coming, which greatly increased the cost of roads and bridges maintenance. It is known, preventive maintenance is the advanced maintenance mode, preventive maintenance performance can not only greatly improve the roads and bridges life time, and can also greatly save the cost of road and bridge maintenance. In this paper, Accroding to Yang Bei Road and Balitai bridge maintane cost, the actual operation of the process of roadperformance comparison and analysis of the monitoring data, analysis the Yangbei Road and Balitai bridge which using preventive maintenance methods, to predict the life of roads and bridges, and analysis the perfoomence and maintane cost of the two structures.Accroding to the calculation analysis: the optimum curing time for the the Yangbei is the first five years after the construction of the road, through the unit area of road pavement maintenance cost and performance analysis, with a delay time of curing, curing unit area of a single effect will declined; but at the same road service life, the effect of road pavement performance of preventive maintenance has not been better than the conservation of the road pavement performance results, but the road pavement performance with the performance of preventive maintenance delayed start time, the road surface poor; and finally, with the increase in the useful life of the road, the road of getting low performance, service life when the road is long enough, the attenuation of the overall performance of the road surface is not the way in which you can make up a conservation; according to Pali Taiwan overpass analysis of conservation and the use of preventive protection is not found, the bridge after the adoption of conservation, reliability and performance of the bridge the bridge has been greatly improved, maintenance costs and total cost by the cumulative analysis found that, compared to the loss of the bridge overhaul the cost in terms of the loss of the bridge using preventive maintenance cost is far lower than the bridge overhaul.
